What does pro-aging mean to you:
1.Firstly, what conflicting thoughts did you battle while approaching midlife and beyond?
I knew I wanted to reinvent myself and yet I wasn’t sure what that would look like after sixty. It turns out that this time of my life is the most exciting and empowering time ever.
2.What are the positives of midlife and beyond?
I’m showing up exactly as myself and feeling very comfortable in my skin. I’ve become fearless.
3.What are the challenges?
Technology is changing at warp speed and as a live streamer I need to stay on top of my game. That means I’m constantly in learning mode as I tackle the next bleeding edge online platform or program.
4.What strategies do you use to overcome the challenges?
I break down the challenges into small steps. And remind myself, I don’t need to know everything… at least right now!
5.What words of wisdom would you have for the younger generations or your younger self?
Think for yourself. And when you find yourself having to make a decision about whether to move forward ask yourself these questions: if I do this, what is the worst case scenario? Can I live with that outcome… and if you can…go for it.
6.How important are your female friends and why?
As I have gotten farther along on his journey called life, my female friends have become the people that I gravitate to and collaborate with. I believe that when women inspire each other we rise together.
7.What attributes would you want in a romantic partner?
Someone who is a good listener and supports me through my good days and the days I’m in bitch mode. I find that incredibly sexy 😉
8.What do you find most fulfilling at this stage of life?
I love the impact I am making on my weekly live show The Super Boomer Lifestyle show. Shining a spotlight on #superboomers around the world. I am also the president of a start up marijuana company, breaking through barriers!
9.What fears do you have and what do you do to move past them?
Sometimes I fear that in my quest to “have it all” that I fear I might make a bad choice or decision. First, I listen to my what my gut is telling me. Then I meditate on it and take the first step to move forward.
10.Style is a reflection of who you are. What style reflects you?
I love simple classic looks. I prefer to wear my clothes rather than my clothes wearing me.
11.What place does nutrition, fitness and wellness have in your life? What do these look like for you?
